So for the past 2 days my truck has been acting up.. while driving it seems like its not running on all cylinders. First tought was my spark... either wires, plugs, cap, etc.
Hey mate thanks for the input. One thing to note is while my problem may have been caused by heat, it also does it sometimes when cold. Im just thinking that there may have been some damage caused to the solenoid by the heat from the exhaust.

ok i have an 04 tahoe w/ 135k miles on it.. been running like a top until lately. Seems like now (maybe started a couple weeks ago, which is when it got colder here but not sure if that is part of it)... when going down the road and trying to lightly accelerate i will get a hesitation.

I'm going to go out on a limb here, but my guess is that this 1954 Ford is running a 327-inch Chevy engine. The body looks nice and straight, probably all stock body parts, which makes sense if you want to run in D/Gas.
